GED AND LITERACY

XBS050/XBS051 GED PREPARATION ������������������������������������������������������������������������������� Tuition $76.00

Suffolk County Community College now offers a 30-hour literacy (GED) and college preparation course (XBS050/XBS051) on all campuses. Students must pay a $76.00 tuition charge to participate. This fee entitles the student to 30 hours of instruction. XBS050/XBS051 must be taken on the same days and times on the same campus. Students must register and pay tuition for XBS050/XBS051 each semester they wish to prepare for the GED. Open enrollment begins on May 1, 2011. Students learn about medical school and medical research. They learn about systems of the body, how our brains produce thoughts and how we fight viruses. Students move from interns to specialists as they go from medical school to a medical center and research lab.
